One of the coolest things about Boston Design Week is that it's not actually just one week: it's a 12-day citywide event celebrating designers, design and lighting showrooms, urban planners, interior designers, and more from all over greater Boston.
Here are the dates for this year's Boston Design Week: March 30-April 10.
According to the Boston Design Week website, this special event "seeks to increase public awareness and appreciation of all aspects of design, foster recognition of the vital role design plays in our lives, and bring new audiences to a wide array of design industries and organizations."
At Wolfers Lighting, this is our second year participating in Boston Design Week, and we're especially excited for the seminars we have planned for 2016:
FREE Seminar: LED Applications for the Kitchen and Bath
Join us on Saturday, April 2nd from 9:30 am – 11 am in our Allston lighting showroom OR Thursday, April 7th from 11am – 12:30 pm in our Waltham lighting showroom. Our very own Susan Arnold will define what considerations to use when planning the lighting portion of your project, such as LED color temperatures and how they might coordinate with your paint and fabrics. She'll discuss the benefits of transitioning to LED, answer your questions, and guide you through our interactive lighting labs that let you experience all your lighting options in live settings.
Susan is an ALA certified lighting consultant and has conducted seminars for both homeowners and trade clients. She has been the lighting consultant for many area projects, including a recent episode of This Old House.
FREE Seminar: LED 101: A Wolfers Home Lighting Seminar.
Join us on Tuesday, April 5th, 11am – 12:30pm in our Allston lighting showroom. LED lighting is changing the way we light our homes, but if you're new to this technology—or if you simply haven't had time to read up on it—it can be overwhelming. The goal of this seminar is to take the mystery out of LEDs by giving you a clear, easy-to-understand primer that arms you with the information you need to make the best buying decisions for your home.
Led by Susan Arnold, this seminar will discuss the benefits of LED bulbs, dimming and controlling LED, the impact of color temperature on a room, and so much more. Plus, you'll be able to view cutting‐edge lighting products for your home in real‐life settings in our Allston showroom.
Interested? Space is limited. Register now—it's free.
We hope to see you at one of our events!
