Trending: Vintage Light Bulbs

Posted on Dec 26, 2015 by Andrea

It might seem like an oxymoron to say something that's vintage is trending, but the truth is vintage light bulbs are all the rage, and no wonder. It's hard to resist their warm glow. And the best part? Now you can combine your vintage look with modern LED technology. Talk about a win-win!

At Wolfers, we love this trend, and we're excited to help our customers with their vintage light bulb needs—whatever they may be.

Below are just some of our vintage light bulb offerings…

Beautiful vintage bulbs are in stock!

  1. Bulbrite is synonymous with nostalgia. At Wolfers, we stock the more traditional wattage vintage bulbs in 40w and 60w from Bulbrite, which describes its Nostalgic Signature Collection as "meticulously handcrafted to preserve the look of early 20th century lighting."

  1. Tech Lighting's Alva Pendant. We're huge fans of Tech Lighting, and this lovely pendant doesn't disappoint. LEDs in the "base" of the glass lamp illuminate laser-etched "filaments" for an elegant take on the vintage look. Get your dose of nostalgia with the added convenience and longevity of LEDs.
  1. Say hello to lighting fixtures that look great with vintage filament bulbs. We have gorgeous ones on display in our Waltham and Allston lighting showrooms, including these:

    Hinkley Pendant

Hinkley One Light Mini Pendant. Inspired by the American barn light, this pendant's cast-socket covers, mesh shades, canopy detail, and two-tone finish options combine the best in both vintage and industrial design elements.

Troy Lighting's "Odyssey" Collection

Troy Lighting's "Odyssey" Collection. We love so much about this hanging light fixture, like the hand-worked wrought iron, plated smoked glass, and carbide black and polished nickel finish.
