Crystal Light Fixtures Say Hello to the 21st Century

Posted on Oct 28, 2016 by Andrea

We love the innovations lighting manufacturers are making with crystal light fixtures—innovations that will forever transform the way you view them.

The biggest trends we're seeing include more contemporary shapes (such as drum shades) and novel uses of LEDs with crystal accents. The best part? These crystal lighting fixtures still work in traditional settings (it is crystal after all), but they also work with contemporary aesthetics as well.

In other words, you simply can't go wrong with a crystal lighting fixture. Here are a few of our current favorites.

The crystals on this modern chandelier give it timeless elegance!

1. Quoizel Lighting's Platinum Collection. Quoizel brings its design expertise to this gorgeous four-light pendant with glittering crystal accents. We especially love how this fixture incorporate crystal with polished nickel shapes. Talk about a new take on the traditional candelabra! See it in person in our Waltham lighting showroom.

2. Robert Abbey "Bling" Chandelier. They weren't kidding when they used the word bling! The glass drops from a polished nickel, bronze, or brass frame, adding a healthy dose of sparkle while keeping a thoroughly modern theme. See it in both showrooms in polished nickel.

3. Kovacs Chrome and Crystal Pendant. This gorgeous LED pendant from George Kovacs has a chrome ribbon shade with crystals on the inside providing extra shimmer. See it in Waltham or Allston.

4. Crystorama's "Solaris" 6-Light Chandelier in Olde Silver. With a manufacturer named "Crystorama," it HAS to be special, and this piece certainly doesn't disappoint. We love its contemporary shape and subtle use of crystal. No wonder the 9-light version was selected for the stairway in Boston Magazine's Design Home 2016. Check it out in Waltham or Allston.

Do you have questions about these or other crystal light fixtures? We're always happy to help. Stop by one of our lighting showrooms or make an appointment.
